Overview

Baby ETA is designed with your privacy as a priority. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All information stays on your device.

Data Collection

We do not collect any data.

Baby ETA does not:

• Collect personal information
• Track your location history
• Use analytics or tracking services
• Require account creation
• Transmit data to external servers
• Share data with third parties
• Use advertising SDKs

Data Storage

All data created within Baby ETA is stored locally on your device:

• Contraction data — Stored in encrypted device storage (iOS Keychain)
• Hospital location — Stored in encrypted device storage (iOS Keychain)
• Preferences — Stored locally on your device
• Checklist items — Stored locally on your device

If you use the Apple Watch companion app, data is synced directly between your iPhone and Apple Watch using Apple's secure WatchConnectivity framework. This data never passes through external servers.

Location Services

Baby ETA requests location access solely to calculate travel time to your selected hospital. Your location is:

• Used only for real-time travel time calculation
• Never stored or recorded
• Never transmitted to external servers
• Processed entirely on your device using Apple Maps

You can use the app without granting location permission; travel time features will simply be unavailable.

Third-Party Services

Baby ETA uses only Apple's built-in frameworks:

• MapKit — For hospital search and travel time (processed locally)
• CoreLocation — For current location (processed locally)

We do not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Data Security

Sensitive data is encrypted using iOS Keychain with the highest protection level. This means:

• Data is encrypted at rest
• Data is only accessible when your device is unlocked
• Data is not included in device backups
• Data cannot be transferred to other devices

Data Deletion

You can delete all app data at any time:

1. Open Baby ETA
2. Go to Settings → Privacy & Security
3. Tap "Erase All Data"

Alternatively, deleting the app will remove all associated data from your device.

Children's Privacy

Baby ETA does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app is intended for adult users.

Changes to This Policy

If we make changes to this privacy policy, we will update the "Effective Date" above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
